To ensure continued access to external support for University-based projects, it is imperative that sponsored projects be conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Government agencies, foundations and corporate sponsors specify relevant regulations and guidelines in program announcements or on contract/grant forms. Circulars of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) establish principles and standards relating to costs incurred on Federally funded grants and contracts. The following are circulars that will be applicable for most University sponsored projects.
The Federal Register also provides an Online Tutorial that explain what it is and how to use it. This tutorial contains 12 PDF files. You can read the files online, or you can download the tutorial to your own computer.
